The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Peric (Cambridge), seconded by Mr. Richardson (Perth--Wellington--Waterloo),--That Bill C-316, An Act to amend the Immigration Act and the Transfer of Offenders Act, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
The debate continued.
At 6:20 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 93, the Speaker interrupted the proceedings.
The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on division.
Accordingly, the Bill was read the second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration.
