In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(f), your Committee has discussed the situation involving His Excellency Abdou Diouf, Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie, and reports the following: |
Conformément au mandat que lui confère le paragraphe 108(3)(f) du Règlement, votre Comité a discuté de la situation concernant Son Excellence Monsieur Abdou Diouf, secrétaire général de l'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, et il fait rapport de ce qui suit : |
That the Standing Committee on Official Languages gives an official apology to His Excellency Mr. Abdou Diouf, about the treatment which he received upon his arrival in Canada and that the Committee report to the House recommending that the Government does the same. | Que le Comité permanent des langues officielles présente des excuses officielles à Son Excellence M. Abdou Diouf, au sujet du traitement qu’il a reçu à son arrivée au Canada et que le Comité fasse rapport à la Chambre recommandant au gouvernement d’en faire autant. |
