| In accordance with its Order of Reference of Thursday, April 23, 2009, your Committee has considered Bill C-24, An Act to implement the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Peru, the Agreement on the Environment between Canada and the Republic of Peru and the Agreement on Labour Cooperation between Canada and the Republic of Peru, and agreed on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, to report it with the following amendment: | Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du jeudi 23 avril 2009, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-24, Loi portant mise en œuvre de l'Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République du Pérou, de l'Accord sur l'environnement entre le Canada et la République du Pérou et de l'Accord de coopération dans le domaine du travail entre le Canada et la République du Pérou, et a convenu le mardi 26 mai 2009, d’en faire rapport avec l'amendement suivant : |

| That Bill C-24, in Clause 8, be amended by replacing lines 20 and 21 on page 3 with the following: | Que le projet de loi C-24, à l'article 8, soit modifié par substitution, à la ligne 28, page 3, de ce qui suit : |
“without the consent in writing of the Attorney General of Canada, including the reasons why consent was given, to enforce or determine any right or” | « tement écrit et motivé du procureur général du Canada. » |
