Motion Text
That, in the opinion of the House, the Minister of Industry should: (a) review existing shortfalls with the National Building Code that impact fire safety; (b) specify that first responder safety be used as the basis of a code change request; and (c) ensure that fire safety is written into the code as a core requirement in the 2015 code review cycle.
