M-581 Instruction to the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage (creation of an emergency fund)

That the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage be instructed to undertake a study on the creation of an emergency fund that would provide financial assistance, in the event of a disaster, to heritage institutions such as the museum network, historic buildings and tourist attractions, the closure of which would represent a major loss for the communities that depend on them and that it report its observations and recommendations to the House.
