An Act respecting the safety of consumer products

Notices of Motions

Motion No. 1 — June 9, 2009 — The Minister of Health — That Bill C-6 be amended by adding before line 22 on page 32 the following new clause:
63.1 (1) The Minister shall establish a committee to advise him or her on matters in connection with the administration of this Act, including the labelling of consumer products.
(2) Committee members may be paid remuneration up to the amount that is fixed by the Governor in Council and are entitled to the reasonable travel and living expenses that they incur while performing their duties away from their ordinary place of residence.”
Recommendation
(Pursuant to Standing Order 76.1(3))
Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the following amendment to Bill C-6, “An Act respecting the safety of consumer products”. That Bill C-6 be amended by adding before line 22 on page 32 the following new clause:
