| M-373 — May 10, 2012 — Ms. Duncan (Etobicoke North) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) establish a process for the designation of certain drugs as drugs to be used in the treatment of rare disorders; (b) develop protocols for clinical trials of drugs suitable for the treatment of rare disorders; (c) commit necessary resources for post-market surveillance, research and registration of patients in order to allow for the collection of outcome and safety data for rare disorders; (d) develop appropriate trial size, efficacy and safety benchmarks for small patient populations in regard to the administration of drugs for the treatment of rare disorders. | M-373 — 10 mai 2012 — Mme Duncan (Etobicoke-Nord) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait : a) établir un processus pour que certains médicaments soient désignés à titre de médicaments à employer pour le traitement de maladies rares; b) élaborer des protocoles d’essais cliniques pour les médicaments qui conviennent au traitement de maladies rares; c) engager les ressources nécessaires pour la surveillance post-commercialisation, la recherche et l’enregistrement des patients afin de recueillir les résultats et les données de sécurité pour les maladies rares; d) élaborer des normes appropriées en ce qui a trait aux formats, à l’efficacité et à la sécurité des essais chez les petits groupes de patients en ce qui touche à la médication pour le traitement des maladies rares. |

| M-319 — February 15, 2012 — Mr. Galipeau (Ottawa—Orléans) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) continue its dialogue with the provinces, territories, health stakeholders, industry and Canadians to promote and maintain healthy weight for children and youth; (b) encourage discussions to address the factors that lead to obesity, such as social and physical environments, physical activity, as well as the promotion of and access to nutritious food; (c) encourage individuals and organizations to commit to participating in the promotion of a healthy weight; and (d) consider the federal, provincial and territorial framework for action to promote healthy weight entitled “Curbing Childhood Obesity”, that resulted from the endorsement of the “Declaration on Prevention and Promotion” by the federal, provincial and territorial Ministers of Health and Health promotion/Healthy Living, as the basis for action to address obesity, particularly in children, promoting physical activity and making healthy food choices. | M-319 — 15 février 2012 — M.
