Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $9,300, for the briefing on the Canadian response to the outbreak of the coronavirus, be adopted.
On motion of Don Davies, it was agreed, — That all requests to appear before the committee be distributed to the committee members.
On motion of Don Davies, it was agreed, — That whenever a Minister appears before the committee, every effort be made to ensure that the meeting is televised.
On motion of Don Davies, it was agreed, — That the committee may meet in camera only for the following purposes:
(a) to consider a draft report;
(b) to attend briefings concerning national security;
(c) to consider lists of witnesses;
(d) for any other reason, with the unanimous consent of the committee;
That all votes taken in camera, with the exception of votes regarding the consideration of draft reports, be recorded in the Minutes of Proceedings, including how each member voted when recorded votes are requested;
That any motion to sit in camera is debatable and amendable.
At 3:37 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 3:38 p.m., the sitting resumed.
Paul MacKinnon, Heather Jeffrey, Patrick Tanguy and Aaron McCrorie made statements and, with Denis Vinette, answered questions.
At 5:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
