Appendix A: Approximate Distances Between Selected Military Sites in Canada

This map shows the approximate distances to be traveled between military sites in southern Canada and select military locations in the Canadian Arctic, by aircraft or ship. In addition, this graphic compares those distances with travel distances to select cities around the world from the same military sites in southern Canada. The map also shows the Trenton Search and Rescue Region’s area of responsibility, which includes most of the Canadian Arctic region
