Ottawa, February 12, 1999 - Sarmite Bulte, Chair of the Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment of the

Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade announced today that the Sub-Committee will undertake comprehensive public hearings on Canada's priority interests in the negociations towards a Free Trade Area for the Americas (FTAA). The hearings will take place from March to June 1999.

Ottawa, 12 février 1999 – Sarmite Bulte, présidente du Sous-comité du commerce, des différends commerciaux et des investissements internationaux du Comité permanent des affaires étrangères et du commerce international annonce la tenue des audiences publiques sur les intérêts prioritaires du Canada dans les négociations d'une zone de libre-échange des Amériques (ZLEA), audiences qui se tiendront de mars à juin 1999.
