M-572 Special committee on persons living with disabilities

That a special committee of the House be appointed to address the fact that persons living with a disability are twice as likely to experience low income than other Canadians, by: (a) reviewing income security for persons living with disabilities; and (b) consulting broadly with persons living with disabilities and disability organizations and other relevant stakeholders; and that the committee report back to the House no later than six months following the adoption of this motion, with concrete recommendations to improve income security for persons living with disabilities.
