| Pursuant to Standing Order 97.1(1), your Committee is requesting an extension of thirty sitting days to consider Bill C-307, An Act to prohibit the use of benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) in certain products and to amend the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, thereby providing the Committee with a total of ninety sitting days during which to complete its study of the Bill. | Conformément à l'article 97.1(1) du Règlement, le Comité demande une prolongation de trente jours de séance pour l'étude du projet de loi C-307, Loi interdisant l'utilisation de phtalate de butylbenzyle (BBP), de phtalate de dibutyle (DBP) et de phtalate de di(2-éthylhexyle) (DEHP) dans certains produits et modifiant la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l'environnement (1999). Par conséquent, le Comité disposera d'un total de quatre vingt-dix jours de séance durant lesquels il pourra compléter son étude du projet de loi. |
| The Committee's schedule has been disrupted by several unforseen items of business, resulting in a delay of its clause by clause consideration of Bill C-307. Therefore, it requests an extension of thirty sitting days. | Le calendrier des travaux du Comité a été perturbé à plusieurs reprises par des imprévus, d’où un retard dans l’étude article par article du projet de loi C-307.
