THIRD REPORT	TROISIÈME RAPPORT
In accordance with its Order of Reference of Tuesday, March 11, 2008, your Committee has considered Bill S-215, An Act to protect heritage lighthouses, and agreed on Thursday, April 10, 2008, to report it with the following amendments:	Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du mardi 11 mars 2008, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi S-215, Loi visant à protéger les phares patrimoniaux, et a convenu le jeudi 10 avril 2008, d’en faire rapport avec les amendements suivants :

Preamble	Préambule
That Bill S-215, in the Preamble, be amended by adding after line 15 on page 1 the following:	Que le projet de loi S-215, au préambule, soit modifié par adjonction, après la ligne 16, page 1, de ce qui suit :
“AND WHEREAS it is important to provide access to heritage lighthouses in order for people to understand and appreciate the contribution of those lighthouses to Canada’s maritime heritage;”	« qu'il importe de permettre l'accès aux phares patrimoniaux afin que les gens puissent comprendre leur apport au patrimoine maritime du Canada et l'apprécier à sa juste mesure; »
Clause 2	Article 2
That Bill S-215, in Clause 2, be amended by replacing line 9 on page 2 with the following:	Que le projet de loi S-215, à l'article 2, soit modifié par substitution, aux lignes 15 et 16, page 2, de ce qui suit :
“this Act, and includes any related building”	« « phare patrimonial » Phare — ainsi que tout bâtiment connexe — désigné comme phare »
That Bill S-215, in Clause 2, be amended by replacing lines 19 to 28 on page 2 with the following:	Que le projet de loi S-215, à l'article 2, soit modifié par substitution, aux lignes 18 à 25, page 2, de ce qui suit :
““related building”, in relation to a heritage lighthouse, means any building on the site on which the lighthouse is situated that contributes to the heritage character of the lighthouse.”	« « bâtiment connexe » S'entend, à l'égard d'un phare patrimonial, de tout bâtiment situé sur le même site que le phare qui contribue à son caractère patrimonial. »
Clause 6	Article 6
That Bill S-215, in Clause 6, be amended by replacing line 6 on page 3 with the following:	Que le projet de loi S-215, à l'article 6, soit modifié par substitution, à la ligne 6, page 3, de ce qui suit :
