Pursuant to the order of reference of Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-49, An Act to amend the Canada—Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Act and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act and to make consequential amendments to other Acts.

Andrew Parsons and Tory Rushton made statements and, with Craig Martin, Kim Doane and Melissa Oldreive, answered questions.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Daniel J. Fleck, Shannon Arnold, Elisa Obermann, Terry Paul and Alisdair McLean made statements and answered questions.

Pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.
