In accordance with its Order of Reference of Friday, May 18, 2001, your Committee has considered Bill S-24, An Act to implement an agreement between the Mohawks of Kanesatake and Her Majesty in right of Canada respecting governance of certain lands by the Mohawks of Kanesatake and to amend an Act in consequence, and agreed on Monday, May 28, 2001, to report it without amendment. |
Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du vendredi 18 mai 2001, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi S-24, Loi visant à mettre en oeuvre l'entente conclue par les Mohawks de Kanesatake et Sa Majesté du chef du Canada concernant l'exercice de pouvoirs gouvernementaux par ceux-ci sur certaines terres et modifiant une loi en conséquence, et a convenu le lundi 28 mai 2001, d'en faire rapport sans amendement. |
