Mr. Martin (Esquimalt -- Juan de Fuca), seconded by Mr. Morrison (Cypress Hills -- Grasslands), moved, -- That, in the opinion of this House, the government should convene in 1998 a meeting of `like-minded nations' in order to develop a multilateral plan of action to reform international organizations (e.g. International Monetary Fund, World Bank, United Nations) so that they can identify the precursors of conflict and establish multilateral conflict-prevention initiatives. (Private Members' Business M-338)

Debate arose thereon.

By unanimous consent, the motion was amended to read as follows:
