Pursuant to Standing Order 52, Mr. Efford (Bonavista—Trinity—Conception) asked leave to move the adjournment of the House for the purpose of discussing a specific and important matter requiring urgent consideration, namely, the cod fishery.
The Speaker decided that the matter was proper to be discussed and, pursuant to Standing Order 52(9), directed that it be considered on Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at the ordinary hour of daily adjournment.
