The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Anderson (Minister of the Environment) , seconded by Ms. Bradshaw (Minister of Labour) , — That Bill C-9, An Act to amend the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, be now read a third time and do pass.
The debate continued.
The question was put on the motion and, pursuant to Standing Order 45, the recorded division was deferred until Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at the expiry of the time provided for Oral Questions.
The Order was read for the second reading and reference to the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs of Bill C-35, An Act to amend the National Defence Act (remuneration of military judges).
