Bill C-28

A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on May 2, 2006

Notices of Motions

Motion No. 1 — December 6, 2006 — — That Bill C-28, in Clause 31, be amended by replacing subclause (2) with the following:

“(2) Subsection (1) applies to the 2005 and subsequent taxation years.”

Recommendation

(Pursuant to Standing Order 76.1(3))

Her Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in the following amendment to Bill C-28, “A second Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on May 2, 2006”. That Bill C-28, in Clause 31, be amended by replacing subclause (2) with the following:

“(2) Subsection (1) applies to the 2005 and subsequent taxation years.”
