The Speaker informed the House that, pursuant to Standing Order 28(4), he had recalled the House today for the sole purpose of granting the Royal Assent to certain Bills. |
Royal Assent |
The Speaker informed the House that His Excellency the Governor General will proceed to the Senate today at 2:00 p.m., for the purpose of giving the Royal Assent to certain Bills. |
Messages from the Senate |
A message was received from the Senate as follows: |
— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House that the Senate has passed Bill C-310, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (trafficking in persons), without amendment.

— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House that the Senate has passed Bill C-25, An Act relating to pooled registered pension plans and making related amendments to other Acts, without amendment.

— ORDERED: That a message be sent to the House of Commons to acquaint that House that the Senate has passed Bill C-31, An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Balanced Refugee Reform Act, the Marine Transportation Security Act and the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act, without amendment.
