Presenting Reports from Interparliamentary Delegations
Pursuant to Standing Order 34(1), Mr. Bélanger (Ottawa—Vanier) presented the report of the Canadian delegation of the Canada-Africa Parliamentary Association respecting its Bilateral Mission to Nairobi, Republic of Kenya, and to Lilongwe, Republic of Malawi, from January 19 to 26, 2013. — Sessional Paper No. 8565-411-76-03.

Presenting Reports from Committees

Mr. Merrifield (Yellowhead), from the Standing Committee on International Trade, presented the Sixth Report of the Committee, "Report on an Economic Partnership Agreement Between Canada and Japan". — Sessional Paper No. 8510-411-184.

Pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee requested that the government table a comprehensive response.

A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meetings Nos. 33 to 41, 44, 50 to 54 and 60 to 63) was tabled.


Mr. Wallace (Burlington), from the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights, presented the 19th Report of the Committee (recommendation, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, that Bill C-273, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (cyberbullying), not be further proceeded with). — Sessional Paper No. 8510-411-185.

Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons

Pursuant to subsection 12(1) of the Conflict of Interest Code for Members of the House of Commons, the Member for Humber—St. Barbe—Baie Verte sent to the Clerk a disclosure of a private interest and, pursuant to subsection 12(3) of the Code, the Clerk referred the disclosure to the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner.

Adjournment Proceedings

At 6:32 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 38(1), the question “That this House do now adjourn” was deemed to have been proposed.

After debate, the question was deemed to have been adopted.

Accordingly, at 6:52 p.m., the Speaker adjourned the House until tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 24(1).
