The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee study the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2018-19 and the Interim Estimates 2019-20 and invite the Minister of Transport and the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities to appear.

It was agreed, — That the next study on the Committee’s agenda be on passenger bus safety, for the duration of four meetings.

It was agreed, — That Members submit their witness list for the study of passenger bus safety, in order of priority, to the Clerk of the Committee, before end of day on Wednesday, February 6, 2019.

It was agreed, — That two travel proposals for the Spring/Summer 2019 period be adopted and presented to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee; the first proposal includes site visits to St. John’s (Newfoundland), Halifax, Québec City, Trois-Rivières and Montréal, in the context of the study of the Canadian Transportation and Logistics Strategy; and the second proposal consists of a site visit to a flight school in Ottawa, as part of the study of Challenges Facing Flight Schools in Canada.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Canadian transportation and logistics strategy.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 11:58 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 12:57 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
