M-184 — May 9, 2018 — Ms. Tassi (Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas) — That the House call on the government to: (a) reaffirm its commitment to gender equality and to an international feminist assistance policy; (b) recognize that a society is more prosperous, peaceful, secure, and united when women are valued, included, and empowered in their communities; and (c) officially designate June 2019 as Women Deliver Month, in recognition of the Women Deliver conference to be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, that same month, and which will be attended by world leaders, activists, advocates, and academics from around the globe.
