Appeal of Designation of an item of Private Members' Business

Pursuant to Standing Order 92(4), we, the undersigned, hereby appeal the recommendation set forth in the 80th Report of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs designating as non-votable Bill C-421, An Act to amend the Citizenship Act (adequate knowledge of French in Quebec), and call upon the Speaker to cause a secret vote to be held in this regard.
