Appeal of Designation of an item of Private Members' Business

Appel d'une désignation d'une affaire émanant des députés

Pursuant to Standing Order 92(4), we, the undersigned, hereby appeal the recommendation set forth in the 80th Report of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs designating as non-votable Bill C-421, An Act to amend the Citizenship Act (adequate knowledge of French in Quebec), and call upon the Speaker to cause a secret vote to be held in this regard.	Conformément à l’article 92(4) du Règlement, nous, soussignés, en appelons de la recommandation présente dans le 80^e rapport du Comité permanent de la procédure et des affaires de la Chambre qui désigne le projet de loi C-421, Loi modifiant la Loi sur la citoyenneté (connaissance suffisante de la langue française au Québec), comme une affaire ne faisant pas l’objet d’un vote et demandons au Président d’ordonner la tenue d’un vote secret à cet égard.
