| In accordance with its Order of Reference of Wednesday, May 13, 2009, your Committee has considered Bill C-273, An Act to Amend the Competition Act and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (right to repair), and agreed on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, to report the following: | Conformément à son Ordre de renvoi du mercredi 13 mai 2009, votre Comité a étudié le projet de loi C-273, Loi modifiant la Loi sur la concurrence et la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l'environnement (1999) (droit de réparer), et il a convenu le mercredi 28 octobre 2009, de faire rapport de ce qui suit : |
| That, pursuant to Standing Order 97.1, and, after concluding hearings on Bill C-273 (Right-to-Repair) and the Agreement respecting the Canadian Automotive Service Information Standard (CASIS) along with the commitments of all the organizations involved, and in light of the evidence received, the Committee recommends that the House do not proceed further with Bill C-273, An Act to Amend the Competition Act and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (right to repair). | Que, conformément à l'article 97.1 du Règlement, et après avoir tenu des audiences au sujet du projet de loi C-273 (droit de réparer) et de l’accord relatif à la Canadian Automotive Service Information Standard (CASIS) avec les engagements de tous les organismes impliqués, et à la lumière des témoignages qu’il a reçus, le Comité recommande que la Chambre ne poursuive pas l'étude du projet de loi C-273, Loi modifiant la Loi sur la concurrence et la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l'environnement (1999) (droit de réparer). |
