Presenting Reports from Committees

Mr. Lebel (Chambly), from the Standing Joint Committee on Scrutiny of Regulations, presented the 3rd Report of the Committee (National Capital Commission Traffic and Property Regulations). -- Sessional Paper No. 8510-351-102.

Pursuant to Standing Order 123, the Report contained a resolution to revoke sections 23, 41 and 42 of the National Capital Commission Traffic and Property Regulations, C.R.C. 1978, c. 1044.

Mr. Hermanson (Kindersley -- Lloydminster), seconded by Mr. Harper (Simcoe Centre), moved, -- That this House condemn the government for its failure to keep its Red Book promise to make the government more open and permitting Members of Parliament to be more accountable to their constituents.
