Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Harris (Prince George -- Bulkley Valley), seconded by Ms. Meredith (Surrey -- White Rock -- South Langley), Bill C-358, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (consecutive sentences), was introduced, read the first time, ordered to be printed and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

Mr. Lee (Scarborough -- Rouge River), seconded by Mr. LeBlanc (Cape Breton Highlands -- Canso), moved, -- That, in the opinion of this House, the Parliament should adopt specific measures to enable and ensure access by Members of Parliament to all judicial, quasi judicial and administrative hearings held under the provisions of the Immigration Act, the Young Offenders Act, and the Corrections and Conditional Release Act. (Private Members' Business M-39)
Debate arose thereon.
Pursuant to Standing Order 96(1), the Order was dropped from the Order Paper.
