Ms. Torsney (Burlington), from the Standing Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, presented the 7th Report of the Committee (Bill C-27, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (child prostitution, child sex tourism, criminal harassment and female genital mutilation), with amendments). -- Sessional Paper No. 8510-352-63.

GOVERNMENT ORDERS

And of the amendment of Mr. Loubier (Saint-Hyacinthe -- Bagot), seconded by Mr. Rocheleau (Trois-Rivières), -- That the motion be amended by deleting all the words after the word "That" and substituting the following:

    "Bill C-70, An Act to amend the Excise Tax Act, the Federal-Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act, the Income Tax Act, the Debt Servicing and Reduction Account Act and related Acts, be not now read a second time but that it be read a second time this day six months hence."
