Introduction of Private Members' Bills
Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Harper (Calgary West), seconded by Mr. Solberg (Medicine Hat), Bill C-327, An Act to amend the Access to Information Act (disclosure of results of public opinion polls), was introduced, read the first time, ordered to be printed and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

By unanimous consent, Mr. Zed (Parliamentary Secretary to the Leader of the Government in the House of Commons), seconded by Mr. Hubbard (Miramichi), moved, -- That the 29th Report of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs, presented earlier today, be concurred in.

GOVERNMENT ORDERS
The Order was read for the consideration of the Business of Supply.
Mr. Loubier (Saint-Hyacinthe -- Bagot), seconded by Mr. Bélisle (La Prairie), moved, -- That this House condemn the federal government's refusal to reveal the full facts on the tax-free transfer of two billion dollars out of the country and its decision instead to attack the credibility of the Auditor General while opening the doors to other capital transfers that will deprive the federal government of hundreds of millions, and possibly billions, of dollars every year.
Debate arose thereon.

The Order was read for the second reading and reference to the Standing Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs of Bill C-230, An Act to provide for a national referendum to authorize the government to negotiate terms of separation with a province that has voted for separation from Canada.
Mr. Stinson (Okanagan -- Shuswap), seconded by Mr. Harris (Prince George -- Bulkley Valley), moved, -- That the Bill be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs.
Debate arose thereon.
