Introduction of Private Members' Bills

Pursuant to Standing Orders 68(2) and 69(1), on motion of Mr. Gallaway (Sarnia -- Lambton), seconded by Mr. Szabo (Mississauga South), Bill C-393, An Act to amend the Competition Act, 1998 (negative option marketing), was introduced, read the first time, ordered to be printed and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.

GOVERNMENT ORDERS

Mr. Hill (Macleod), seconded by Mr. Vellacott (Wanuskewin), moved, -- That this House urges the government to act on the recommendation of Justice Horace Krever to compensate all victims who contracted Hepatitis C from tainted blood.
