The Order was read for the consideration at report stage of Bill C-12, An Act to amend the Judges Act and to amend another Act in consequence, as reported by the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights with amendments.
Mr. Boudria (Leader of the Government in the House of Commons) for Ms. McLellan (Minister of Justice), seconded by Mr. Kilgour (Secretary of State (Latin America and Africa)), moved, -- That the Bill, as amended, be concurred in at report stage.
The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.
Accordingly, the Bill, as amended, was concurred in at report stage.
Pursuant to Standing Order 76.1(11), Mr. Boudria (Leader of the Government in the House of Commons) for Ms. McLellan (Minister of Justice), seconded by Mr. Kilgour (Secretary of State (Latin America and Africa)), moved, -- That the Bill be now read a third time and do pass.

Presenting Petitions
Pursuant to Standing Order 36, petitions certified correct by the Clerk of Petitions were presented as follows:

Accordingly, the Bill was read the third time and passed.
The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Goodale (Minister of Natural Resources), seconded by Mr. MacAulay (Solicitor General of Canada), -- That Bill C-4, An Act to establish a foundation to fund sustainable development technology, be now read a third time and do pass.

PRIVATE MEMBERS' BUSINESS
At 12:32 p.m., by unanimous consent, the House proceeded to the consideration of Private Members' Business.
Mr. Pankiw (Saskatoon -- Humboldt), seconded by Mr. Grewal (Surrey Central), moved, -- That, in the opinion of this House, the government should immediately amend the Criminal Code to create a separate category of offences and punishments for computer hackers and persons who wilfully or maliciously export computer viruses, both of whose activities disrupt the normal conduct of electronic business in Canada. (Private Members' Business M-80)
Debate arose thereon.
Pursuant to Standing Order 93, the Order was dropped to the bottom of the order of precedence on the Order Paper.
