The Speaker informed the House that, pursuant to the Act to amend the Parliament of Canada Act, S.C. 1997, c. 32, Mr. Guimond (Beauport—Montmorency—Côte-de-Beaupré—Île-d'Orléans) has been appointed a member of the Board of Internal Economy to replace Mr. Brien (Témiscamingue) .
