[English]

Good morning, everybody. We have some new members of the committee.
    Welcome.
First of all, we have to elect a vice-chair. For the NDP, Charlie Angus is the member. We need to have an election.
I'll pass this over to Jean-Denis.
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the second vice-chair must be a member of an opposition party other than the official opposition. I'm now prepared to receive a motion for the second vice-chair.
Mr. Erskine-Smith has moved that Charlie Angus be elected as second vice-chair of the committee. Is it the pleasure of the committee to adopt the motion?
    Some hon. members: Agreed.
The Clerk: I declare the motion carried and Charlie Angus duly elected second vice-chair of the committee.
    Some hon. members: Hear, hear!
An hon. member: That is unanimous.
That's the only time that's going to happen.
We're going to suspend to go in camera.
    [Proceedings continue in camera]
