Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, November 15, 2016, the Committee commenced consideration of the Special Examination Report - International Development Research Centre, of the Fall 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, November 29, 2016.

Sylvain Ricard and Jean Lebel made statements and answered questions.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee undertake a study of Report 1, The Beyond the Border Action Plan, of the Fall 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada; and that witnesses be invited to appear before the Committee on Monday, February 6, 2017 and on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee undertake a study of Report 4, Oversight of Passenger Vehicle Safety, of the Fall 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada; and that witnesses be invited to appear before the Committee on Wednesday, February 15, 2017.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee undertake a study of Report 3, Preparing Indigenous Offenders for Release, of the Fall 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada; and that witnesses be invited to appear before the Committee on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee undertake a study of Report 6, First Nations Specific Claims, of the Fall 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada; and that witnesses be invited to appear before the Committee on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

At 4:51 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
