The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That clause-by-clause consideration of Bill C-64 be on Monday, February 26, 2018.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $26,600, for the study of Bill C-64, An Act respecting wrecks, abandoned, dilapidated or hazardous vessels and salvage operations, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That members submit their witness list on the study of the Canadian Transportation and Logistics Strategy (Trade Corridors) for the Pacific region, in order of priority, to the Clerk of the Committee, before end of day on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.

At 3:48 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:49 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee submit a travel proposal to the Liaison Committee for the period of April to June 2018.

It was agreed, — That the Chair submit a proposed calendar for the Committee’s upcoming work.

It was agreed, — That the Committee request the Minister of Transport to provide the following documents prior to his appearance on February 5, 2018, including:

- Departmental analysis of results for the first call for proposals for Assessment and Removal (A&R) projects of the Abandoned Boats Program for 2017–18 funding, including the number of applications by province, and the amount requested per each application;

- All submissions and stakeholders' feedback made to Transport Canada during the consultation process to develop C-64, An Act respecting wrecks, abandoned, dilapidated or hazardous vessels and salvage operations, including the conference call of August 31, 2016.

At 4:18 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
