Motions

Pursuant to Standing Order 56.1(1), Mr. LeBlanc (Leader of the Government in the House of Commons), seconded by Mr. Duclos (Minister of Families, Children and Social Development), moved, — That the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development be the committee designated for the purposes of Section 343 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act.

The question was put on the motion and, less than 25 Members having risen to object, pursuant to Standing Order 56.1(3), the motion was adopted.

His Excellency the Governor General recommends to the House of Commons the appropriation of public revenue under the circumstances, in the manner and for the purposes set out in a measure entitled “An Act to amend the Public Service Labour Relations Act, the Public Service Labour Relations and Employment Board Act and other Acts and to provide for certain other measures”.
