Adam van Koeverden moved, —
That this committee undertake a pre-study on Bill C-73, An Act respecting transparency and accountability in relation to certain commitments Canada has made under the Convention on Biological Diversity. To this end, the Committee hold a minimum of 5 meetings.
- Invite the Minister of the Environment and Environment and Climate Change Canada officials;
- That this study begin within 7 days of the adoption of this motion.
Debate arose thereon.
Monique Pauzé moved, — That the motion be amended by replacing the words “within 7 days of the adoption of this motion” with the following: “following the completion of the witness testimony of the study on the environment and climate impacts related to the Canadian financial system.”.
