Mr. Bevilacqua (Vaughan -- King -- Aurora), from the Standing Committee on Finance, presented the 9th Report of the Committee (Bill S-16, An Act to implement an agreement between Canada and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, an agreement between Canada and the Republic of Croatia and a convention between Canada and the Republic of Chile, for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income, without amendment). -- Sessional Paper No. 8510-361-109.
A copy of the relevant Minutes of Proceedings (Meeting No. 162) was tabled.
Presenting Petitions
Pursuant to Standing Order 36, petitions certified correct by the Clerk of Petitions were presented as follows:
