The House resumed consideration of the motion of Mr. Pettigrew (Minister for International Trade) , seconded by Mr. Dion (Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs) , — That Bill C-50, An Act to amend certain Acts as a result of the accession of the People's Republic of China to the Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade.

The debate continued.

By unanimous consent, it was ordered, — That the Order for the second reading and reference to the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights of Bill C-386, An Act to amend the Criminal Code (breaking and entering), be dropped to the bottom of the order of precedence on the Order Paper.
