First Reading of Senate Public Bills

Pursuant to Standing Order 69(2), on motion of Mr. Duncan (Minister of State) for Mr. Alexander (Minister of Citizenship and Immigration), seconded by Ms. Raitt (Minister of Transport), Bill S-7, An Act to amend the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Civil Marriage Act and the Criminal Code and to make consequential amendments to other Acts, was read the first time and ordered for a second reading at the next sitting of the House.
