Election of Vice-Chair
Pursuant to Standing Order 106(2), the clerk of the committee presided over the election of a vice-chair.

On motion of Michael D. Chong, it was agreed, — That René Villemure be elected Second Vice-Chair of the committee representing the Bloc Québécois.

At 6:39 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:42 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

Canada–People’s Republic of China Relations
Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday, May 16, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the Canada–People’s Republic of China relations.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the committee do now adjourn.

At 8:17 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
