It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Review of the Access to Information Act".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and Analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
It was agreed, — That the Chair write a letter to Minister Scott Brison highlighting the first phase changes recommended in the Report.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.
At 8:51 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 8:55 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.
David Lyon, by videoconference from Toronto, Ontario, Teresa Scassa and Lisa Austin made statements and answered questions.
At 10:48 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:49 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
It was agreed, — That the meeting planned for Thursday, June 16, 2016 be cancelled.
