At 12:25 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 12:28 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
It was agreed, — That the motion adopted on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 concerning the review of the Law on the Protection of Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) now read as follows:
That the Committee commit to undertake the review of the Law on the Protection of Personal Information and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) directly following the end of the current study, namely the study of the Privacy Act.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Privacy Act, Members of the Committee send their questions for the European Data Protection Supervisor to the Clerk by Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at the latest.
It was agreed, — That, in relation to the studies of the Security of Canada Information Sharing Act (SCISA) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Members of the Committee send their lists of witnesses to the Clerk as soon as possible.
At 12:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
