Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the subcommittee on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, the subcommittee commenced its study of Georgia's draft law on foreign agents.

Ketevan Chachava and Natasha Lindstaedt made statements and answered questions.

At 4:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:51 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Magdalena Dembińska, Jeff Sahadeo and Natalie Sabanadze made statements and answered questions.

The subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to subcommittee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $7,500, for the study of Georgia's draft law on foreign agents, be adopted.

On motion of Anita Vandenbeld, it was agreed, — That the subcommittee do now adjourn.

At 5:31 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
