Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, October 30, 2018, the Committee commenced its study of aquatic invasive species.

Gail Wallin, Rebecca Schroeder, by videoconference from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Robyn Hooper, by videoconference from Kelowna, British Columbia, Deborah Sparks, by videoconference from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Hugh MacIsaac, Andrew Bouzan, by videoconference from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Anna Warwick Sears made statements and, with Jodi Romyn, by videoconference from Kamloops, British Columbia, answered questions.

At 5:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:30 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $15,900, for the study of the migration of lobster and snow crab in Atlantic Canada and the impact of changes to lobster carapace size, be adopted.

At 5:36 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
