The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Robert J. Morrissey moved, — That the Committee proceed to sit in camera.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 4.

At 3:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:34 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera

That the Committee invite the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, as soon as possible, to brief members and answer questions.

That the Committee undertake a study to review the imminent closure of the Comox MCTS station of the Canadian Coast Guard; and that the Committee report its findings to the House.

At 4:38 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
