James Bezan moved, — That the Government of Canada negotiate a defence and security agreement with the Republic of Moldova.
That the Government of Canada add Moldova to the Automatic Firearms Country Control List.
That the Government of Canada send an election observation mission to Moldova for the November 2018 parliamentary elections..
RULING BY THE CHAIR
The Chair ruled the proposed motion inadmissible because it contravenes Standing Order 108(1).
On motion of Sven Spengemann, it was agreed, — That the Committee report to the House a summary, including recommendations, of the meeting on Thursday, June 14, 2018 with the Ambassador of Moldova to Canada on Moldova`s geopolitical and military interests in the context of Russian hostility and aggression.
At 10:34 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
