Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of subject matter of Supplementary Estimates (C), 2017-18: Votes 1c, 5c and 10c under Department of National Defence; and
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study subject matter of Interim Estimates 2018-19: Vote 1 under Communications Security Establishment, Votes 1, 5 and 10 under Department of National Defence, Vote 1 under Military Grievances External Review Committee, Vote 1 under Military Police Complaints Commission, Vote 1 under Office of the Communications Security Establishment Commissioner.
The Minister made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 9:54 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 9:58 a.m., the sitting resumed.
On motion of Leona Alleslev, it was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada’s involvement in NATO, the Committee travel to Petawawa, Ontario on Tuesday, April 17, 2018; that the Committee be accompanied by the necessary staff; and that the proposed budget in the amount of $4,059.45 for the Committee's travel, be adopted.
