Vice-Admiral (Retired) Drew Robertson, Commodore (Retired) Daniel Sing and Captain(N) (Retired) Harry Harsch made statements and answered questions.
James Bezan raised a question of privilege regarding intimidation.
At 1:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 1:04 p.m., the sitting resumed.
RULING BY THE CHAIR
The Chair determined that the question of privilege raised by James Bezan did not relate to parliamentary privilege.
Whereupon, James Bezan appealed the decision of the Chair.
The question: "Shall the decision of the Chair be sustained?" was put and the decision was sustained on the following recorded division:
YEAS: Darren Fisher, Mark Gerretsen, Jean R. Rioux, Sherry Romanado, Sven Spengemann — 5;
NAYS: James Bezan, Cheryl Gallant, Pierre Paul-Hus — 3.
